Mardi Gras in May 5K

10:00AM to 12:00PM

Join us for the inaugural Mardi Gras in May 5k!

Enjoy Peoria is hosting our own Mardi Gras Parade, HOWEVER instead of floats the runners will be the star attraction! So please dress in your finest Mardi Gras attire, and remember costumes are encouraged!

This is the most entertaining race you will run this year! Street Performers will blow your mind at each mile marker and people lining the streets will be tossing you beads!

This race will begin and end at Martinis on Water Street with a celebratory beverage and a sneak preview of the evenings festival's Street Performers!

A Mardi Gras Mask will be provided to each runner along with a race T-Shirt!

Prizes will be awarded in each age category along with a prize for best team costume!

A portion of the proceeds from the race will benefit The Foster Pet Outreach.  Mardi Gras in May 5K

Enjoy Peoria is transforming Water Street into New Orleans’s French Quarter for the Inaugural Mardi Gras in May Street Party. Come enjoy quality entertainment, food, and art from State Street down to Liberty!

Internationally known Street Performers will dazzle you with their colorful acts and out of this world talent. To further the French Quarter experience, tarot card readers, caricature artists and story tellers will delight you with their talentsl! Local restaurants will offer authentic Cajun dishes and drinks and artists will be selling their wares as well as offering demonstrations and lessons throughtout the Festival.
