130th Santa Claus Parade

10:15AM to 12:00PM

The longest running holiday parade in the country.  Bands, Costumed Characters and Float Awards in various categories and Santa & Mrs. Claus.  Televised live on WMBD - TV.  Free- For all ages.  Attendance 30,000- Telecast (7 countries) 20,000.  Parade starts at 10:15 AM and ends at 12 PM

Yule Like Peoria

06:00PM to 09:00PM

Various forms of entertainment in commercial buildings throughout the downtown businesses.  Walk.a.bout costumed characters.  Ice Carving at Peoria Courthouse Plaza.  Event hours- 6PM to 9 PM.  A fantastic way to kick off the holiday season!
