Yoga for All at First Ascent Peoria

08:30AM to 09:45AM

Join us for Yoga For All, First Ascent's FREE monthly 75-minute morning yoga class featuring a guest teacher from the Peoria yoga community or beyond. Taught on the climbing gym floor, yoga practitioners can spread their mats out and breathe under the indoor canyons of First Ascent before climbers are allowed into the gym. All levels are welcome! Practitioners may stay and climb after (details below). Note: Climbing does not open until 10 am.

Time: 830am-945am (doors open at 815am; doors close as soon as class starts)
Cost: FREE!!! (stay after to climb and get a half price Day Pass)
What To Bring: yoga mat (limited number of mats available to borrow), towel and water bottle. Please fill out a waiver online before coming to class.

Spring Fling 2019!

“The 105-7-The-X Spring Fling is our kickoff to Summer in the River City, as we have invited the greatest live bands in Rock to slam home their amazing music on our Peoria Riverfront for multiple days each May in front of thousands of Central Illinois Rock fans! As we say on the radio everyday on the X…we have the world’s BEST Rock Fans….and Spring Fling is a celebration of that spirit and soul! “Fling” got started in 2011, and we haven’t looked back since! Once an indoor party…we’ve now moved outdoor…and gone bigger….better….and louder! We’ve been entertained and Rocked by the best in our near decade long history…..Stone Sour….Papa Roach….Five Finger Death Punch….Shinedown…..Stone Temple Pilots….Pop Evil…Nothing More….the bands and artists have been amazing. Spirit of Peoria Sightseeing Cruise

01:30PM to 03:30PM

Departure time: 2pm These cruises are1.5 hours-long and run 2 to 5 times a week. They begin and end at the riverfront dock in downtown Peoria, with the Spirit cruising up and down the Illinois River. 

Kids and adults alike will be fascinated by the boat’s tall fluted stacks and gigantic candy-apple red paddlewheel churning through the water. It’s great entertainment for all ages. Trip includes Captain’s Commentary. Gift shop and concessions are available.
