Check out the summers’s most “spirited” event! It’s the 1st annual 5K on the grounds of Peoria’s historic Springdale Cemetery & Mausoleum. Run or walk on the sprawling 225-acre nonsectarian National Historic Site that opened in 1854. It’s one of the largest cemeteries in Illinois.

Peoria Art GuildCreate a macrame plant hanger to hang a potted artificial succulent! During this workshop, you will learn how to create your own beautiful macrame wall hanging. No experience is necessary for this class! You will learn how to tie basic knots in order to create a modern macrame of your own. Each student will be provided a dowel rod and plenty of cord to create their wall hanging.

Departure time: 2pm These cruises are1.5 hours-long and run 2 to 5 times a week. They begin and end at the riverfront dock in downtown Peoria, with the Spirit cruising up and down the Illinois River.
