Yoga for All: Free Public Yoga- 08:30AM to 09:45AM
Join us for Yoga For All, First Ascent's FREE monthly 75-minute morning yoga class featuring a guest teacher from the Peoria yoga community or beyond. Taught on the climbing gym floor, yoga practitioners can spread their mats out and breathe under the indoor canyons of First Ascent before climbers are allowed into the gym. All levels are welcome! Practitioners may stay and climb after (details below). Note: Climbing does not open until 10 am.

Time: 830am-945am (doors open at 815am; doors close as soon as class starts)
Cost: FREE!!! (stay after to climb and get a half price Day Pass)
What To Bring: yoga mat (limited number of mats available to borrow), towel and water bottle. Please fill out a waiver online before coming to class.

Enjoy bowling, food, silent auction, prizes, and compete to be the top team! Proceeds benefit services to single parents in the Tri-County Area.
Event begins at Noon
$100 for a team of 4 (2 games, shoes included)
$30 for individuals (2 games, shoes included)
Wear your bowling attire - bowling shirts or t-shirts with your team name!
We will also have a donation box available for collection of household items and hygiene products for our single parents.

Much like trying to clap with only one hand, being a single parent is not easy! FamilyCore lends a hand by helping single parents learn to communicate effectively, discipline appropriately, apply good child development techniques, use self-care practices and connect to resources.

Relax Under the Stars!- 12:00PM to 01:00PM
Stressed at work? Need a break from your hectic day? Come to Dome Planetarium and calm down. Enjoy a short star talk, then let your tension float away under starry skies with soothing background music. First Wednesday of every month at noon.

Free parking in the museum's parking garage, just bring in your ticket to be validated at the Front Desk. If you arrive past Noon, it will be dark in the Dome. Please pause for a few moments to allow your eyes to adjust to the dark. Someone will help you find your seats. Food and drink welcome in the Dome.
Please note that all are welcome, but this program may not be suitable for young children. It is designed to give people a quiet time to relax, and periods of long sitting can be difficult for some young ones.
