riverfronts for a massive Fourth of July fireworks display. The fireworks show annually ranks among the top 2% in the nation. Music, food and drink vendors, and other entertainment surrounds the fireworks, which are launched from a dual barge in the middle of the Illinois River. The fireworks shells explode to
the choreographed beats of music on six Midwest Communications radio stations. 2023 will be the 35th presentation of the event, which is open to everyone and is free of charge.
