High School Climbing Club @ First Ascent- 06:00PM to 07:30PM
Hey High Schooler’s! Here's your chance to improve your climbing skills without the stress of competing. This club has a lot to offer beyond just climbing, such as building connections, meeting like-minded people from different schools, and providing a space for personal growth. There will be opportunities to connect through gym and climbing workshops, post-club get-togethers, and fun local competition. An experienced Instructor will lead the club each week, providing assessments, guidance and encouragement to help you reach your climbing goal. Moses Pettengill: Peoria\\\'s Freedom Conductor at Pettingill-Morron House Museum- 01:00PM to 03:30PM
Presentations at 1:00 and again at 2:30 p.m. Newly discovered, in-depth research will be discussed by Corey Curtis, local historian and history teacher. Curtis will enlighten his audience, sharing the efforts of prominent businessman and civic leader Moses Pettengill to lead the operations of the local Underground Railroad.
