First Friday Artists' Studios Tour- 05:00PM to 09:00PM
On the First Friday of every month, from 5pm to 9pm, join us for an intimate look at studios, galleries and arts organizations. Meet artists, musicians, neighbors and collectors. The tour includes twelve locations and spans a breadth of artistic media. Come, enjoy the unique efforts of creative and talented artists living and working in Central Illinois. Steamboat Start Training Program- 05:45PM to 07:45PM
Illinois Valley Striders would like to invite you to join our Steamboat Start Training program.
The initial training starts on April 1st at 5:45pm on the Peoria Riverfront near the Spirit of Peoria/Clock Tower - across from the Peoria Riverfront Museum. The training program is free and open to all ability levels but is developed to allow new and returning runners to finish the 4 mile Steamboat Classic race on June 20. Training is every Wednesday at 5:45pm, and you can drop in on any training with no committment needed, however we do require a signed waiver at your first attendence.

Goats + Yoga Beach Party at Obed & Isaacs - Peoria- 11:00AM to 01:30PM
Come kick off spring while you enjoy libations & do yoga (or not) with goats in their Hawaiian gear @ Goats + Yoga! You're welcome to wear your Hawaiian gear, too! Get outside and do yoga in the gorgeous beer garden @ Obed & Isaac's Microbrewery in Peoria, IL.

Come for the yoga, and nama-stay for Obed & Isaac's famous craft beer + amazing menu. You can "Eat Well and Drink Better Beer" in an 1889 Church! The Bocce Beer Garden is the perfect place to be. They are family friendly and pet friendly. They also cater to cyclists with a fix it station and offer a large bike rack to park and secure your bicycle. (Sorry, no dogs allowed in our Goats + Yoga.)
The beer garden offers bocce, bags, DAGz and more to keep you and your friends entertained all evening.

What is Goats + Yoga like?
We will be outside in Obed & Isaac's amazing Bocce Beer Garden. After you get your drinks (if you're over 21), you'll set up your mats and get to meet the goats. Yep, you can bring your drinks into the yoga area! You will be given cups of goat treats to help persuade the goats to come to you. There will be some who will be on top of you, and some who'd rather watch you from afar or just eat out of your hand. You can be as involved (or not) as you'd like. We can also strategically place the right goats on top of you for just the right selfie!
This is a VERY informal class! You are welcome to bring your yoga mat, or a beach towel will be just fine, too. If you are no longer able to attend, you may transfer your ticket to a friend. Just give us a heads up!
We highly recommend you nama-stay with your friends or significant other and make it a day here! Check out this newly remodeled church.
